is a family run business established in 2017 by Christian and Louise.
Christian and Louise are partners in both work and life and between them have backgrounds in the Luxury fashion, design and tourism industries.
They both also had the privilege of working at the Victoria and Albert museum as members of the Alexander McQueen savage beauty exhibition team. In their spare time they both share a passion for collecting vintage clothing, art and antiques as well as being Keen travellers and passionate about protecting the natural world and our environment.
Minerva vintage was first born from all of these interests as a hobby and a desire to join the fashion revolution and reject fast fashion.
They started picking up one off items on their travels as well as browsing markets in Christian's home town whilst living over there together. A town near Pompeii and The beautiful Sorrento coastline in the south of Italy where to this day most of their stock is hand selected from a supplier that hires out clothing to designers and the film industry.
The couple started by selling their treasures on eBay and then quickly transitioned their business into a bricks and mortar shop when the couple decided to up root back to England and moved back to Louise’s hometown Stratford upon Avon.
The first site of their shop was a room in Henley street antiques centre opposite William Shakespeare’s birthplace. After a great success they then upscaled and moved their boutique to Bonds lifestyle :
a converted barn, luxury home wear, cafe and shopping destination on the edge of Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswold countryside. After two years of incredible success at Bonds and building a very loyal and vast customer base, (including fashion stylists and editors) it seemed like the perfect time to expand their little boutique back onto the internet once again for worldwide reach in 2020.
Every year they manage to increase their volume of high quality designer pieces by brands such as Valentino, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana and Gucci just to name few.
